# Volume bar colors

Volume bars represent the trade volume for a time period shown on the chart.

Green color bar = Closing price of time period > Closing price of previous time period

Red color bar = Closing price of time period < Closing price of previous time period

White/Black color bar = Closing price of time period is the same as the previous period
